Somatic work for when you don’t want to talk about it.
As you probably know by now, there are some challenges you can’t think your way out of.
There are stories the body holds that come before words. There are places where words are too much, or not enough.
This is where attuned, co-regulating bodywork can change everything.
Available online and in-person, in lower Manhattan and Tribeca.
1:1 Bodywork
Co-regulating Touch for Deep Change
In-Person Sessions
Attuned, attachment-informed bodywork for nervous system re-balancing, relational healing, and embodied presence.
Approach: Sessions integrate Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Transforming Touch, Somatic Experiencing, and ancestral reconnection
Structure: Fully clothed, using light touch only—this is not massage, and there is no pressure or manipulation
“I came to see you because my stress and anxiety levels were too high. I had reached a point where other forms of treatment weren’t really working for me.
I never knew that my body could respond so immediately and actively to gentle contact. The treatments also resolved physiological pains – my neck pain was significantly reduced. Since we started working together, I feel less anxiety on a day-to-day basis. My ability to breathe into my diaphragm has also increased.
I have recommended you to all of my friends. I think the work you do could help everyone.”
Online Sessions
Experience restorative somatic support remotely.
Transforming Touch: Adapted for online, available for 1:1 and group sessions
R & R: Community nervous system reset events (~every 7 weeks)
The Restoration Sessions: 6-week cycles of support in a small group
“My acupuncturist recommended that I see you. I was having intense neck pain and some emotional issues.
The experience of working with you was profound and powerful. I felt shifts in energy and mood right away. I think that things were released in these sessions that had been blocked, which I was unable to dislodge in any other way.
Since our work together, I haven’t had any neck pain.”
You are not broken.
You do not need to be fixed.
How I work in person
When coaching or therapy hasn’t helped, we can work with directly with the body. I integrate light touch with other somatic approaches to support the emotional and physical body. We begin by rebalancing the nervous system because all system change begins with your nervous system. Through safe touch, we create the conditions for physical and emotional challenges to be supported and resolved. This work can relieve painful symptoms, build resilience and expand your capacity for connection and agency.
All work is done fully clothed, either on a treatment table or while comfortably seated.

Because sometimes words are too much and sometimes not enough, I use a combination of talk and touch. Sometimes the root of the challenges we are experiencing is pre-verbal or pre-cognition. Many mental health challenges, emotional difficulties and chronic health conditions can be traced to early life stress, including anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, digestive issues, and more. In our work together, we connect to health and vitality that can be masked by physical and emotional symptoms. Body work can help when other approaches have not because touch is our first language.

We begin seated together to check in with how you are, what you have noticed since our last meeting, and what your priority is for the session. We then transition to the somatic work.
Usually, the client will lay face-up on a treatment table. However, every body is different and we can modify position and work seated as needed. I prioritize comfort, boundaries, and consent. I use light touch, however some of this work can also be done without physical contact.
Much of the table work is quiet and with little movement. If you have an intention of building more connection with your body, we may check in about what we are both sensing. We may move through simple movement together to support your body to shift what may be stuck, or to help integrate the session work..
You may drop into a state between wake and sleep, or notice sensations such as warmth or coolness, tingling or digestive sounds. It is my intention to work in a slow and safe way, whatever arises in a session. I am trained to support you if there is discomfort as unprocessed experiences move through.
People often report greater ease at the end of the hour. As you deepen your relationship with your body, you increase your capacity for pleasure, joy, and connection to others.
